Changing logo in the login screen Splunk 6.0

Hello to Everyone,

I go straight to the point. I have followed the different answers posted here related to how to change the logo.
In particular:

Unfortunately, I cannot change the logo in the login screen. What step should be taken? if using the instance in web.conf file, what should be written exactly to replace the logo?
I have tried to modify the login.css file also, but I cannot get any image to be displayed.

We are also looking for a solution to add a logo in front of "splunk>" in version 6.1.1

The answer above which is marked as 'answered' unfortunately is not helpful.

I also noticed that the Splunk Branding doco seems to have screen shots for version 5.x:

Hi!! Have you gone through the customisations available on the Advanced Developer customisations? I've never changed the Splunk's top logo before, but, if you walkthrough the CSS files I believe you'll be able to find that.

Thank you for your answer. Yes, I have read it, but it just says how to change the text message. I would like to put a new logo on it and yes, with splunk written on it.
