Can you answer a couple of questions for me regarding the certification exam?

folks,
just checking your experience with Recertification and Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect

  1. Anyone have done the "At my home or office" Option of the pearson Vue? How is the experience of person looking on you remotely
  2. Is it open book? I mean, can I access internet/Splunk Answers or my local Splunk setup during the course of exam?
  3. Will the Certified Architect recertification be a full blown exam/lab as normal certification?

It is NO LONGER open-book; it is memory-only; at the office means that you install some software which make sure that you are not running prohibited software (such as browsers, notepad, etc.). The proctor will evaluate your workspace (360x360x360 camera sweeps) and has you put your devices on the floor behind you. Then the test starts with another proctor watching you the whole time on your webcam. If any person appears in the frame, your exam is terminated (bye-bye $150).

You can thank the cheaters and fakers. There is soooooooooooooo much bad Splunking with unqualified but "certified" frauds that Splunk had to do something. I can't say that I blame them.
