Can Monitor Path include spaces?

I am trying to get this to work
[monitor://\Corp\hdq\nba\nba releases\Utilities\SuitReviewWorkbench\suiteviewworkbench...log] and I am not getting the files I expect. I am wondering if the space in "\nba releases\" is causing a problem. If it is, what is the correct syntax to monitor this Windows path?

It looks like you are trying to monitor a UNC path..Does Splunk have access to this location?..Whitespace is fine.
