Alert menu item not available for users

I just noticed that the alert... menu item under Create in the search App is not available anymore for users with role user in our SH.
Anybody has an idea how to enable that again for the users?

The Solution is: The user role needs the capability -> schedule_search to be able to schedule searches and create alerts for it.
