Monitoring KVM virtual machine using virt-top

Hi

For monitoring linux OS top.sh is used in splunk forwarderer.

Is any script available for monitoring KVM virtual machine......?
for monitoring KVM virtual machine we use virt-top command in linux.how to bring output of same virt-top command in splunk....?

We tried by giving the parameter in input.conf file,but it didnot worked.

You could quite easily create your own scripted input.
This might simply be a Bash script that invokes virt-top, formats the command output using awk and then outputs to STD OUT where Splunk will pick up the data.
You could even use one of the Splunk for *Nix app scripts as an example.
