Splunk Enterprise

btprobe error

I'm running Splunk 4.3.2. When I try and run the btprobe tool, I get the following error:

[root@splunk01-dc1 bin]# ./btprobe --help
/opt/splunk/bin/splunkd: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

How can I fix this?

Thx.

to run most splunk bin commands you need to use something like ./splunk cmd btprobe etc.

I've searched the machine and I see the library in:

/opt/splunk/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8
