Splunk universal forwarder upgradation scripts using DS

Hi,

We are maintaining some 400 splunk universal forwarder installed on different location and different OS (*nix, windows) in our environment .
I need a script(Python or shell script ) which is pushed to all universal forwarder using deployment server.
please share me, if there is way of doing so.
