Splunk Enterprise MCP Access & Hosting

Has anyone successfully deployed MCP server with Splunk Enterprise in a production environment?
If so how would you handle Multi-Team Access , RBAC & Integrations with VS Code Augment/claude etc.

I have fair bit of an idea but looking for some standard solution if its implemented .

Did you ever get it working in VSCode? I've struggled with this.

Each user that uses a Splunk MCP should use their own auth tokens, not a shared token, that way the RBAC and appropriate controls are limited by the user's usual permissions.
