PDF Server App with Search Head Pooling

jodros

I enabled search head pooling this weekend. All of the critical functionality is working, except for a few apps, one being the PDF server app. When an email is sent, it contains the following error:

An error occurred while generating a PDF of this report:
Failed to generate PDF: PDF server at /services/pdfserver/renderpdf returned error: Cannot find system install of Xvfb

The PDF server app is on shared storage, since search head pooling ignores the local directory /etc/apps on the search heads.

Any assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

This app requires the Xvfb (or xvfb) package depending on the Linux distro you are using.

Cheers.

Actually, Xvfb was not installed. The other required rpm's were. Installed it and it seems to be working fine.

Thanks

I have all necessary rpm's installed on every search head pool member.
