LDAP to login splunk enterprise and now I need to enable SSO

We are using LDAP to login splunk but now we want to enable SSO. We have Splunk enterprise 7.2.6

We don't use apache

can I do this by using proxy? or other way

I haven't any experience another web server than apache. Apache is there for authentication / get kerberos ticket. If you found any other web server/proxy which you could use for that it should work.
