How to install Splunk Enterprise on Windows 10?

I've tried several times now but I can't get Splunk Enterprise to install on my Windows 10. I even tried an older version with no success.

I tried installing the latest version a few times. I took down my firewalls and even deleted some programs that I don't need to make room but it didn't work. Then I tried the previous install and it still didn't work.

"it didn't work" is not a good problem description as it gives us nothing to work with.  I asked several questions to get more information and you answered exactly none of them.  Without information there's not much we can do to help.

It gets to the end of the installation process and a box appears saying it couldn't finish the installation and nothing on my pc has changed.

Thank you for sharing.  If you're expecting help installing Splunk on Windows 10 then you'll have to provide more information.  Which versions have you tried?  What exactly is meant by "I can't get Splunk Enterprise to install"?  What error messages do you get?  Are you sure you're installing a Windows version of the software?  How, exactly, are you trying to install Splunk?
