How do I create Nagios alert from Splunk Alert?

Hi. Some of the alerts are created in the Splunk. Now I need to create a Nagios service check for each alert so that if Splunk alert returns a record, Nagios check should return to critical state. Basically I need to monitor Splunk alert from Nagios. Can someone give solution for this?
