hope you mean splunk enterprise x86_64 Linux? Here is a way:

docker pull splunk/splunk:7.3.6
docker run -ti --entrypoint /bin/bash splunk/splunk:7.3.
tar zcfv /tmp/splunk-7.3.6.tar.gz splunk
docker ps -> get container id

docker cp CONTAINERID:/tmp/splunk-7.3.6.tar.gz .
