Tagging Data from data sources that are CIM compliant when being sent to ES

Hello,

Is there any issue or concern if I add specific tags to specific data coming in (i.e. DR Site) to Splunk, even though they are CIM compliant and are being used by the ES application?

Will that break anything?

The only possible issue I can think of is if you start adding tags that are also part of the CIM and therefore potentially incorrectly interpreted by ES to be part of some kind of event that they're not. If your tag has nothing to do with ES tags though, there shouldn't be an issue.
