How to launch Splunk URL using xml file?

Hi,

I am trying to call dashboard via the XML file. How do I pass the username and password as parameters?

http://myserver:8000/en-US/app/search/device_search?form.event_data=%22%22&form.time.earliest=-24h%4...

Can anyone help me sample the XML file which will open the above Splunk URL?
