splunk.HttpException: HTTP 401 -- call not properly authenticated while using Java SDK 1.6.x

Hi,

We are using Splunk Java SDK for connecting to Splunk server to perform data ingestion and search operations. 

We are performing several search operations and we are getting this error.

splunk.HttpException: HTTP 401 -- call not properly authenticated.

We checked, the credentials and  port are correct.

Any help to fix this issue would be appreciated.
