# uname -a
Linux localhost 2.6.18-028stab064.7 #1 SMP Wed Aug 26 13:11:07 MSD 2009 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

# python --version
Python 2.6.4

# cd bindings/python/
# splunk cmd python setup.py install

usage: setup.py [global_opts] cmd1 [cmd1_opts] [cmd2 [cmd2_opts] ...]
   or: setup.py --help [cmd1 cmd2 ...]
   or: setup.py --help-commands
   or: setup.py cmd --help

error: invalid command 'install'

Any clues? I'm not so good with python, would be grateful for any assistance!

Thanks!
