Splunk DB Connect not ingesting all the events

Hi,

I'm using DB Connect app to get the records from Oracle DB. I'm using timestamp column as rising column.

and also I checked the missing events in Database. there are 5 events having the same time stamp and total 5 are missing. How does it's possible without ingesting at least one record?. There are no other records having the same time stamp.
any suggestions to avoid that?

can you tell me what's the difference between max. rows retrieve and fetch size in DB inputs?
