Installing AWS App/Add-On: Deploy the "Python for Scientific Computing" via deployer or web interface?

We are planning to get the AWS App & Add-On installed on our Search Head Cluster. One of the requirements for the AWS App is to have the Python for Scientific Computing installed. We plan to deploy the AWS Ap & AWS Add On using the SH deployer.

Do we need to deploy the "Python for Scientific Computing" via the Deployer or does it need to be done via the web interface? I haven't seen any reference in the "Python for Scientific Computing" document for deployment via Deployer.

Hi @aknsun,

For search head cluster go for an installation via deployer. So you will need this app :
https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/2882/#/details

Set it up as you'd set up any other app in an SHC.

Cheers,
David
