How to use HTML templates for code modification in Django or other tool options?

I have several HTML pages that have some parts in common and I would like to use HTML templates to make it easier for code modification. However, the Django bindings page says that Django is deprecated (http://dev.splunk.com/view/webframework-djangobindings/SP-CAAAEM6). What other options do I have?
