Error when upgrading the JDK version being used for DBConnect: "No suitable driver found for jdbc:sqlserver..."

Hello all-

Just got handed a requirement to upgrade the jdk version I'm using for dbconnect to jdk_8u211. I am working in my lab environment and am encountering an error that says:

No suitable driver found for jdbc:sqlserver://xx.xx.xx.xx:xxxx;...

Sounds like it's a compatibility problem between the JDK version on my heavy forwarder and the driver installed on the SQL server itself but I haven't been able to locate a compatibility matrix.

Would anyone know if upgrading the driver on the SQL server would fix this issue?

Thanks!
