Splunk duplicate events analysis

Hello, from splunk data analysis I see some duplicate events being logged few days back and can't search the same data now, I need to write splunk query that will look for same events logged multiple times and report the stats, what is the query that can be used to do this for duplicate events analysis  and summary of such events and counts
