We have our own dashboard which uses AppD Rest APIs to query and show, currenlty I am trying to find the rest call to get Top 5 pages by total requests and top 5 browsers.

Can you help me with that(clearly with endpoints or any other sources from where I can get that data)?

 Hi Suresh,

Top countries or any other analysis like top X can only be done via Analytics (other then from the EUM browser app dashbaord), and then you can add the widget to the Appd custom dashboard if you want. But we can not fetch them using API calls.

Thank You,

Chitra

Thanks for the response Chitra.

I am not sure what you are referring to analytics here, can you please give more inputs?

Thanks,

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

Analytics is a feature of Appdynamics that provides you raw data set that you can slice and dice as needed based on various measures. So Browser Analytics should provide you analytics on data collected by the AppDynamics End User Monitoring (EUM) JavaScript Agent. Please refer to the below doc links as these woul dgive an in depth understanding of Analytics feature:

https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Analytics+Browser+Requests+Data

https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO43/Create+Advanced+Analytics+Searches

https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/ADQL+Reference

But Please be aware that if you wish to use Analytics feature, you would need to get a license for that.

However BRUM has a built in functionality called Web Analyze which keeps a track of your raw EUM data - page views etc for a period of 8 days, by default. Using that feature "Web Analyse" you can surely slice and dice the EUM requests by Browser Versions.
For more details see:  https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Browser+RUM+Analyze

Hope this helps. Do let me know in case you have nay further queries.

Thank You,

Chitra
