dashboard for events

Hi,

I am trying to create a dashboard for events in which I would be able to plot a trend of selected events. I don't see many options available when I tried to use I can select " Health rules and events", under it I can see only 2 options " Health status an event list. 

The event list is only listing all the event selected in either tile line or simple list, is it possible to plot a graph of selected event heading over the period of time. ( Column or Bar chart) ?

Hello Ritesh,

You are right in Health Rules & Event List there is either Health Status or Event List.

I saw that we can plot the events in bar graph as well. I have not used this before and I am not sure if that will satisfy your usecase but I would encourage you to try.

Steps:

1)In dashboard add widget> Metric Data> Choose Time Series Graph.

2) In Data add some metrics and make sure to choose Series Display Type as "Column" in Display Properties in advanced(refer to screenshot)

3)In the edit widget screen add your events.Now you can see the events as well.
