access persmission issue in getenv

Hi,

I am getting a permission error when trying to start the java agent.

Error in Full Agent Registration Info Resolver reading environment variable/system property

java.security.AccessControlException: access denied ("java.lang.RuntimePermission" "getenv.")

We have the same user id and 755 permissions on all the appdynamics directories and this is the same user that runs the JVM

any assistance would be appreciated

Is this in WebSphere?  If so, it is likely you did not make the necessary changes to the server.policy file
