I'm setting up alerts for an infrequent but critical use-case where it would be helpful to include data collector values in the alert that's dispatched from a custom metric evaluation.
There is a data collector for an auto-incremented field value which would help drive focus to the specific occurrence for non-technical, non-AppD user followup.
The alert is working fine, but I can't seem to figure out how to bring in the data-collector value for use with the email template.
Any thoughts?
Hi,
Data collector values are part of snapshots only and health rules (which work on metrics or events) don't have any linkage to snapshots therefore they cannot read any data from them at all so its not possible.
