SSLCertificateMonitor execution frequency in seconds needs larger value than 300

We are setting up the SSL certificate monitor extension and find the execution frequency is way too short. There is no reason to check for something that has days as a time frame. Certificate expiration occurs on a given day, so to check it more than once a day does not make sense. Is there any way to increase the execution frequency to something like a day (86400 seconds)?

Thank you for posting to the community.

Unfortunately, the execution frequency of an extension cannot be greater than 300 seconds.

As written in the document below, the extension must collect metrics at least once every five minutes by design, otherwise extension may lead to erroneous results.
