hi team,

we have application with IBM WebSphere, but the user run service with command line and start stop the application from command line too, so i think i cant put the argument in the IBM WebSphere console.

Have any of you ever installed an agent on IBM WebSphere without using the IBM WebSphere console?
where can I put the appdynamics argument?

Thanks

At this time, utilizing the administrative console for WebSphere is the only supported AppDynamics agent deployment option. In looking at IBM's own WebSphere documentation, they also indicate "setting generic JVM arguments" requires use of the administration console.
