We are using AWS ECS with Docker containers. We do rolling deployments so we frequently have containers that are no longer in use. These presence of these old containers throws off our application and tier health rules. We are using the Node Reuse property, but they are still hanging around for too long?

Is there a way from the Controller UI to configure the Time To Live in AppD on a per application or per tier basis?

Is there a way to remove these nodes via the AppDynamics API? If so, is there a way to predetermine if the a container is truly no longer in use prior to deleting it?
