Splunk AppDynamics

HTTP Client 5

Engager

Since switching to org.apache.httpcomponents.client5:httpclient5:5.3.1 (from org.apache.httpcomponents:httpclient:4.5.14) we have lost tracking of business transactions between tiers.

Are there any known issues with the Java Agents not supporting httpclient5 or is there an agent version where this is known to work?

This is similar to

Thanks
Steve

Thanks for asking your question on the Community. I found this doc that mentions this is supported.

https://docs.appdynamics.com/appd/24.x/24.8/en/application-monitoring/install-app-server-agents/java...

It was suggested you contact AppDynamics Support for this issue. AppDynamics is migrating our Support case handling system to Cisco Support Case Manager (SCM). Read ...
If you do contact Support and find a resolution, can you share your learnings as a reply to this post, please?
