Export / Import Data Collector Configuration using REST API

Is there a way to export and then import the configuration of a Method Invocation Data Collector from one controller to another?  I've been able to do this via REST API for transaction detection, but I don't see anything in the docs for datacollectors.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Not straightforward.

But you can go to application and do the following.

• Select your applicaiton and click on export
• Open the exported xml in an xml editor.
• Remove All subnodes under application except data-gatherer-configs. See screenshot.
• Save and import the config into an existing application

For testing, import back into the same application and check.
