Hi,

Most of these applications are 3rd party apps. AppDynamics best fit is on custom developed webapps.

Not knowing how all of these applications are built, you need to answer two main questions:

1. Is the application written in a language that AppDynamics supports?

(Java, .NET, Python, NodeJS, C/C++, PHP, GoLang)

2. Do you have access to the application server that runs the application? You need to add an APM agent to the start up. If you purchased anything that is SaaS based, I would assume that you would not be able to monitor with AppDynamics.

If you have a Yes to both questions, there is a chance that you can monitor them with AppDynamics!

Hi,

We have Hyperion application which we want to monitor via Appdynamics, we have instrumented it via Java agent but agent is reflecting BTs only for the Hyperion Workspace, application performance related BTs are not detected.

Anyone out here ever instrumented Hyeprion with Appd then please provide some insights.
