BT retention period

Greetings!

Is there a retention period for BTs? or Do BTs get removed from controller database along with the historical data if no load or tarffic for a specific period?

Hi  Sundarapandian,

There is a controller setting which defines the amount of time BT should be retained.

Default value of "business.transaction.retention.period" is 0 hours which means never delete the BTs.

If you set the value as  'X' , the BTs (having no load for X hours) should be deleted by the BT purger task.

The BT's which have no load only gets deleted? Is there way to remove historical data of active BT's from certain period?
