After running a search, use the "Save As" menu to save the search as an alert.

You can then edit options on the alert configuration page to customize how often the saved search should run, what results should trigger an alert, and what actions should be taken when those conditions are met.

It's a good practice to make the alert shared in app so people receiving the alert can link back to understand the trigger conditions.

You can also set dynamic tokens in your alert messages to deliver information from the search results in the alert message.  See https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/Alert/EmailNotificationTokens to understand which options you have.  Despite the article title, these tokens are available in more than email alert actions.
