splunk installer was unable to create splunk services Error(Windows XP)

During installing splunk4.3(x86) , I met error like
"splunk installer was unable to create splunk services"
"Please make sure that the user running the installer the correct privileges....."

what sould I do ?

I already have administrative rights to use computer.
could you show me how to check the rights ?

Depending on the version of windows you are using you may need to right click on the installer and select "Run as administrator" to execute it with administrator priviledges

You must have administrative rights on the machine to create Windows Services. In particular you must have write access to the appropriate parts of the registry to create the services. You can try re-running the installer after you have ascertained that you have these rights, or you can try running splunk enable boot-start from the command prompt.
