After installing the Splunk Enterprise software, it took me to this page: http://localhost:8000/en-US/account/login?return_to=%2Fen-US%2F
I tried logging in with my normal Splunk account, but an error said that it is an invalid username or password.
Do I need to create a separate account?
Your splunk.com account is not used for signing in to Splunk Enterprise. The default account is 'admin'. The password is 'changeme' or the password you supplied during installation.
