Hello guys,
how to correctly update and deploy new LDAP password please, is procedure below accurate?

  • update bindDN, bindDNpassword on /etc/shcluster/my_auth_app/local/authentication.conf
  • apply shc bundle to push new conf on search heads (they may restart and encrypt locally on each sh node)
  • restart deployer to encrypt bindDNpassword on /etc/shcluster/my_auth_app/local/authentication.conf - if I apply shcluster bundle again then nothing will happen.

Splunk Enterprise V7.1.4

Thanks.
