I am very new to SPLUNK, just 1 month in. I am trying to set up an LDAP Strategy to log into SPLUNK via AD username and password. The strategy was created on but i am unable to use any of the AD names to log in. Any help will be appreciated.

First things first...have you read the topics about configuring LDAP in the Securing Splunk manual? They start with Set up user authentication with LDAP and go on from there.
