How to authenticate users ?

There is only one dashboard.
Two users are authenticated to it.
ADMIN need to see all the Panels in the dashboard.
User needs to view some panels in the dashboard remaining masked.

How to SET a permission like this ? Where can i edit the set up ?

You will need the two sets of users to be mapped to different Splunk roles. You can find the roles configuration in Manager under Access Control.

You can either:

  1. Create multiple dashboards with the appropriate permissions
  2. Create the dashboard with saved searches, and set the permissions between the two sets of saved searches to be appropriate
  3. If the searches are from different data sets, you could apply a masking search filter to the other users in their role
