After integrating Splunk with active directory, should we map LDAP attribute from AD with Splunk account?

Hi,

I integrated SPLUNK with AD successfully and able to login with AD credentials. In addition to this should we map any attribute from AD like email with splunk account attributes?

Kindly assist if any such thing possible.

Part of the LDAP configuration process is to (manually) map roles to LDAP group attributes, but you determine what the group attribute you are mapping against is.
