Hi,
we run a scheduled report from search app, which emails the PDF of the report consisting the stats count, it was working fine but from a month we are not getting any PDF in the email. It just says the below given error report.
"An error occurred while generating the PDF. Please see python.log for details."

Check your search head activity and number of jobs in the dispatch directory, in my case in url for splunk console *app/search/scheduler_user_app?form.group_by=user&form.span=4h&earliest=-7d%40h&latest=now I found out an extensive realtime search of one user was causing timeouts on searches. That may cause a load which skips searches and alerts?
