customer unable to delete his own report

Hi,

I have a customer who created a report, and he is the owner. The report has permissions of private. When he tries to delete the report, he gets a "your network connection may be down, or Splunk may be down". Anyone seen this issue? I've looked at splunkd and it's running. We use search-head pooling.

Is the report in default or local? If it is in local, you should be able to delete it. If it is in default, then you have to remove it manually from the file.
