Report missing "Edit Report" link

According to the docs after I save a report, I should have the option to "Edit report", to make adjustments. Unfortunately, the "Edit Report" link is not available... Are there other ways to edit a report, or does anyone know why the link would be missing?

this issue has been reported (SPL-59182) and is expected to be resolved in an upcoming maintenance release.

if you have adequate permissions in your Splunk installation, you can edit reports from Manager > Searches and Reports.

i totally agree. this will absolutely be resolved very soon. keep an eye on the changelog topic in the Release Notes manual for the next maintenance release and check to see if SPL-59182 is included.

This is terrible - how are we expected to manage the visualization? I tried to clone the report, but even that didn't work (cloning only works for non-upgraded 5.0 reports). It seems the only workaround is recreating the report every time you want to change it (plus it still doesn't keep the axis titles). Yikes! =0 We use this feature every time we build a view. Do we have a timeline on the maintenance release? We were planning on upgrading to 5.0, but this may hold us back from production use.

Unfortunately Manager > Searches and Reports only allows changes to the search and not the visualization.
