Is it possible to send data inputs to Splunk via email?

Hi,

Is it possible to send data inputs to Splunk via email? We are getting an email from other teams with some important data, and we would like to upload those details as well in Splunk so that we can make a dashboard with that..

I once wrote a scripted input that read email from Office365. There is the IMAP Mailbox app that indexes the mail it reads. Depending on what you use for email it's certainly possible.

If your email service supports the IMAP protocol then you should be able to use it to read mail. Download the IMAP Mailbox app and see if it will work for you. You may need to modify it for your environment.
