How to export data from Splunk to a SQL server?

I am new to Splunk. I spenT almost the last 7 hours to learn about Splunk and its features.

I want to export data to SQL Server. One way I thought of doing this was exporting from Splunk to CSV, then do an import into SQL Server tables. I am trying to automate job in the SQL server that gets Splunk data and imports it into the SQL server.

Can any one help me? ?s it possible to do? I visited several web sites, but I got confused. Can some Splunk expert give some very basic steps to do my task?

Thanks
V

Check out Splunk DB Connect at https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/2686/

Using that, you can output data directly to SQL Server through JDBC.
