Hi Ajitabh
So I connected with my manager about this, and it looks like certain personal information cannot be changed in Community because it is based on your splunk.com account (versus you community.splunk.com account), so any attempted change here on the Community site to your First and Last Name is getting overwritten with the First and Last Name that's associated with your splunk.com account.Here are some suggestions:

  1. Go to splunk.com and log in. Afterward, click on your profile at the top right corner of the splunk.com page and select "My Dashboard" or "My Profile" and see if you're able to change your First and Last Name there. If there isn't an option to do so...
  2. Your next best option is to contact Splunk Support to see if they can get your First and Last Name updated in your contact record for splunk.com. That will sync with your Community Profile after it's updated. You can find the appropriate contact # here: https://www.splunk.com/en_us/about-splunk/contact-us.html#customer-support

Thank you!

Thanks a lot yeasuh, I have already checked my account in splunk.com, there it's mentioned as Ajitabh Mohanty but not sure where is it synced from.

I will definitely check with the support, thanks again for sharing the link.
