The SignalFx Smart Agent has reached End Of Support today, June 30th, 2023. While the agent can capture and export telemetry to Splunk Observability Cloud, Splunk no longer provides any support, feature updates, security, or bug fixes. Such requests are not bound by any SLAs.

If you are still using the SignalFx Smart Agent, we recommend that you migrate to the Splunk Distribution of OpenTelemetry Collector. You can learn more about what this means for you and information about the OpenTelemetry Collector in this blog. This is a follow up to the email communications since December last year and updates shared in the Observability newsletters.
