splunkd not restarting on app deployment

I have the following in my serverclass.conf file. The app installation works fine but splunkd will not restart on the client. universal forwarder 4.3.4

[serverClass:linux_typical:app:fwd_to_splunk1]
stateOnClient=enabled
restartSplunkd=True

Anyone else have the same problem?

On what OS are you running the UF?

It's CentOS 6.3
