hardware requirement for Splunk forwarder for a test environment

What are the hardware requirement for Splunk forwarder for a test environment. I already have a VM with splunk installed and I am planning for another VM for Splunk forwarder....Just want to know the Recommended hardware capacity/configuration for test environment.

Hi santoshdayala,
do you want Recommended hardware capacity/configuration for for the Forwarder system or Splunk Enterprise System?
if Forwarder, there aren't specifications, think that Universal Forwarder adds a just little overload on the server.
