Splunkd daemon is not responding: ('The read operation timed out',)

So I'm trying to search something and I keep getting the "Splunkd daemon is not responding: ('The read operation timed out',)" error and the one that says that I have almost in the limit of my search jobs so I deleted one real time search I had (which was making a lot of alerts).

But I cant search anything, how do I fix it?

Well, fixed but I had to reinstall everything 😞

I downvoted this post because i don't think reinstallation is the best solution to this problem. most business won't be able to do this.
